Ed Sanz

Currently, my work explores the awareness of self in relation to environment and objects. Where did we come from? Why are we here? -- through found photographs, the artwork conveys a close and far view of portraits with objects, often merging into a space between worlds. My creative process is a careful study of time and memory to share a narrative for viewers to reflect or add meaning. I worked both in oil on canvas and mixed media on canvas (oil, oil pastel, acrylic, spray, and household paint).
